What this course covers

NASC 094 introduces students to the science major through current issues, related research, academic ethics, study habits, and career pathways. This section centers those themes through the lens of Data Science.

  • Introduction to research and research articles
  • Academic and research integrity
  • Career exploration and guest speakers
  • Undergraduate opportunities and presentations

  • Connections with CNAS students and faculty
  • Awareness of research and extracurricular opportunities
